Following on from the rowdy weekend of the Viking Invasion, on Tuesday 15th September there will an opportunity to hear three of the experts in this period discuss their research into the Saxon Minster in Horningsea and the Viking Raid of 870. Three professors – Rosalind Love, Rory Naismith, and Lesley Abrams will be in conversation, moderated by Reverend Canon Nick Moir, in the style of radio 4’s “In Our Time”.
There is no charge for the event but donations will be sought for the Church restoration project. This event is also supported by the National Heritage Lottery Fund.
