We might have rain rather than snow, but nonetheless come banish those winter blues with your neighbours and the HRA. We’ll be lighting the Xmas Tree on Sunday the 2nd of December at 6:30 pm. This year the event has outgrown the bus shelter and now we’ll be doing decorating and lighting in the Jubilee Gardens. As well as being a much safer venue for children there’s also toilets. You’ll be able to keep warm with some mulled wine and of course some mince pies. You will also be entertained with Christmas Carols.

… and do remember to bring some spare change as we’ll be having a collection for the Childrens Hospice in Milton

The HRA’s annual firework display is on Sunday 4th November.

The fireworks start at 6.30pm on the Millennium Green followed by the Bonfire.

Admission is £5 for adults and free for Children (a proportion of the gate takings will be sent to the poppy appeal)

• Build your own guy and bring along for burning

Bonfire building will commence on Saturday 3rd Nov at 10am. Please come along with some helping hands and your garden rubbish or other wooden items you would like to dispose of.

First we had the International evening, then the French evening, and now we have the German evening. If you enjoyed yourself at the previous two events you do not want to miss this one.

Come to the village hall on Saturday the 13th of October at 7:30pm

There will, of course, be lots of authentic German food and drink, including beer, wine. There’ll be a shipment of new wine directly from a German winery.

We’ll have German music of different types and anyone in authentic German Lederhosen will have free entrance.

Admission is £5 on the door.
