Description: Our traditional and much envied village horticultural show returns in it’s 61st year.
Please join with us in exhibiting your produce, artwork and kitchen creations in this popular village event.

May’s Herald.
The end of April saw some very sad news with the death of Margaret Dorrington. A Horningsea stalwart and the village’s eldest resident. Just two months short of her 101st birthday. She will be missed.
In brighter news the village did see two new Horningsea residents being born!
It’s the Horningsea Parish Council annual meeting tomorrow (Weds 3rd of May), there will be reports from all the various groups in the village. There’s a draft document of the Parish Council’s response to the Waterbeach Barracks Outline Planning Application from Urban and Civic attached.
Finally there’s a leaflet from Denny Abbey Farmland Museum. They have now included Horningsea in their Local Residents Season Ticket scheme. So if you are going to visit multiple times in year, get one!
Wednesday 3rd May at 19.30, village hall
The Annual Assembly of the Parish, aka Annual Parish Meeting, will be held on Wednesday 3rd May at 19.30 in the village hall and followed by light refreshments. All residents are very welcome to come and hear reports from the PC and the various village groups.
Prior to the APM there will be an Extraordinary Parish Council Meeting at 19:00 in order to ratify the Council’s response to the Outline Planning Application for the development on former Waterbeach Barracks. Residents are also welcome to attend this meeting.

There’s quite a lot going on this Easter. However, don’t forget that the deadline for submitting comments on the Waterbeach Barracks Development Outline Planning Application is the 12th April. Every comment from every resident is useful!
