January is generally a quiet month, but there’s the AGM of our Horningsea Residents association this month. Then next month the HRA’s calendar of events starts with the Italian Evening.
Both our pubs have events this month. Make sure you support them, even if you are cutting back. It’s January when they need our support the most. Use them or lose them!
Very sadly Peter Halford, a long time resident who contributed so much to our village, died just before Christmas.
There will be a service of thanksgiving for the life of Peter on 6th January at 1pm, St Andrew the Great Church, St Andrews Street, Cambridge, CB2 3AX. All would be most welcome.
