Horningsea Herald February 2022

Here’s February’s Horningsea Herald

On Sunday the 6th the bells will be rung across the country to commemorate the accession of the Queen to the throne in 1952.

St Peter’s bells will be rung at 14:15 and the bell ringers want to invite residents to come and ring. For Horningsea contact Barbara on blegallez@yahoo.co.uk or for Fen Ditton please contact Laurcie on fendittonbells@gmail.com.

After a long absence over the pandemic on the 13th it’s the Horningsea Litter Pick. Come pick up all the litter that accumulates on our streets.

Also the 14th sees the start of the work on the church porch redesign to make access easier. See the photos in the Herald of the Victorian era when there were no steps either.

Finally February will see the start of the Phase 3 consultation of the Sewage Works relocation to our village.

Watch out for flyers through your door from Anglian Water.

But you can keep better updated on the Save Honey Hill campaign website
