Horningsea Herald January 2018

Here’s January’s Horningsea Herald.

It’s a quiet start to the year, but don’t forgot the HRA AGM on the 24th in the village hall.

Please do come along and see what the committee organised last year, and join in if you can this year. It’s busy little village and volunteers/help are always very welcome!

There’s also another important meeting about the Waterbeach Barracks Development on this coming Wednesday (10th) again in the village hall.

This development will have a large impact on this village for decades to come. Now is the time to put forward your opinion/support. You can comment on the application on Cambridgeshire County Council’s Planning Portal.

EDIT: A late minute event is a Burns night – Poems at Pints at the Plough and Fleece on Thursday 25th January.

Come along and celebrate the birthday of the Ploughman Poet, bring an instrument, a song, or poem and join in! Queries to Tony Phillips tonyjphillips@live.co.uk , Rae Langton rhl27@cam.ac.uk.
Fancy dinner beforehand? From 6 pm, with a menu option of haggis, neeps, tatties, with a whisky sauce (veg options also available). Dinner bookings to Plough & Fleece 01223 860795.BURNS NIGHT POEMS AND PINTS FLYER
