Consultation on disabled access to the church

St Peter’s church is now consulting on its revised scheme to improve disabled access.

This entails lowering of the floor in the south porch to create level access into the church, the adjustment of the path from the south porch to create a gentle slope to the externally-accessed disabled WC, and the introduction of a new drain and soakaway.

The Architect’s Specification, associated drawings and three photosheets may be viewed in the south porch, or online

On Sunday 16 August, Andy Clarke will be available at the church from 2pm to 4.30pm to explain the proposal. If you can’t make that time, you can contact Andy on 861314 or andyclarke2 (at)pm.me

If you wish to object to any of the works or proposals you should send a letter or email stating the grounds of your objection to The Diocesan Registrar at

The Bishop of Ely’s Registry
1 The Sanctuary
Westminster
London
SW1P 3JT

ely.registry@1thesanctuary.com

so that your letter or email reaches the registrar not later than Friday 4th September 2020.

A letter of objection must include your name and address and state whether you live in the parish and/or your name is entered on the church electoral roll of the parish or any other basis on which you have an interest in the matter.
