Church services for April

Friday 3rd April, Good Friday at 12.30
You are invited to meet at Horningsea church wearing your walking boots. There will be a short church service outside the church and then everyone will walk to Fen Ditton to arrive in time for the Good Friday Service in FD church.
Easter Sunday 5 April at 10.30 there will be a special family friendly Easter Day service of celebration ( and there may be an Easter egg or two!) so come along as a family.

A special family service followed by a short communion service for those who would like to stay on.
Other services will be taking place in our sister parishes every day in Holy Week and over the Easter weekend. Details will be on the noticeboard
Come and Celebrate the Spring
Saturday 18th April at 10:00 for 10.30, St Peter’s Church
Sing and dance to your favourite Disney songs with a big screen as the background. The Friends of Horningsea Church hope that children will come dressed as their favourite Disney characters. Bring a picnic to enjoy after the singing and dancing. Families will be invited to make a donation to the Friends of Horningsea Church. Bell ringing by boat
Saturday 18 April at about 15:00
St Peter’s Church will be welcoming young bell ringers who are travelling to Horningsea by boat. The ringers are in school years 7 – 10 so if you hear the bells ringing on Saturday afternoon, be impressed by their skills!
The events on 18 April will be the last special events for a couple of months as it is hoped that work can start on the church floor and tower in mid April. Keep your eyes open for information about the application that has been made for a grant towards this work.
