School Bus saved! Appeal won!

Horningsea parents have successfully won the appeal to keep the school bus, which has been safely taking children to Fen Ditton Primary School for over 40 years. Although the Local Authority claimed the route was safe for accompanied children, their Risk Assessments were flawed and the appeal panel unanimously agreed that the route was unsafe. They even said they had to run across the A14 slip roads to avoid being run over!

We would like to thank all the village for their support and in particular Peter Davison and the Parish Council for the assistance they gave us. Peter Davison and Nick Clarke were witnesses for us at the appeal and fought our corner succinctly and faultlessly. At times like this it’s so great to see the village pulling together.
