Horningsea Residents Association (HRA)

This picture shows a thatch cottage on the High Street. The High Street is within the Horningsea Conservation Area.

Horningsea Residents Association (HRA) aims to provide social events for residents throughout the year. Our regular events include International Evening (where residents bring dishes to share), Village Day (with live entertainment, a bouncy castle and more), Fish and Chip bingo, Apple Press day, a Seniors dinner and our big event being the Bonfire and Firework display in November.

We support the Parish council in protection of the village enviroment.

The HRA also manages Goose Green ,the childrens play area which was commissioned five years ago after  raising enough money to replace the old one which was no longer safe.

The association is managed by a small group who meet in the village hall to organise events throughout the year, anyone is welcome and we are always looking out for new ideas.

Check out the HRA Events page.

The presentation given by the HRA in 2005 earned us South Cambs ‘Village of the Year’ award, reported here.
