The HRA are pleased to announce that the 2011 Village Day will take place on the 25th June, starting from 2pm on the village green (entrance is next to the bus shelter). All are welcome. Last year’s event was a great day, despite the rain. This year let’s hope for sun and an even more enjoyable day.
Events planned include:
– Pony rides
– Horse display
– Husky demonstration
– Adults and Children races
– Tug of war
– Pull the fire engine
– Pet show
– Raffle
Throughout the day there will be a bouncy castle, stalls, a bottle tombola, face painting, a photo exhibition and pony rides. There will be a hands on display of the fire engine, other than when the villagers are heaving it across the green! Cream teas and refreshments will be served throughout the day.
Afterwards, in the evening, there will be a disco and BBQ (bring your own food to cook and something to drink).
