Morning – See the exhibition & the Horningsea “800” Film – great for families!

Afternoon – Bells rung from 2.00 to 2.30pm

From 2.30pm – Short talks on Magna Carta themes:

John Bird (founder of The Big Issue) – Liberty & Poverty.

Rae Langton (Professor of Philosophy) – Rights & Responsibilities.

Tony Philips – the Coprolite Workers March – a celebration of the right to protest.
Join in with protest songs!

Lindsay Davies – Anglesey Abbey & the Magna Carta

Exhibition (all day)

* Horningsea “mini Carta” – contemporary with the better known Magna Carta.
* St John’s College’s later copy of Magna Carta – recently found!
* Timeline with subsequent Bills of Rights from around the World.
